The Honourable Justice Jack K. Holmes QC

For over 50 years Justice Holmes dedicated his life to the Canadian legal system for the benefit of all Albertans.  Admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1952, Justice Holmes served as President of the Central Alberta Bar Association and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1976.  Justice Holmes went on to serve the citizens of Alberta as a Judge of the District Court of Alberta as a Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.  Justice Holmes retired in 2003 after 52 years of service to the Province of Alberta. He has now retired after 10 years of service on the Pension Appeals Board of Canada.

Dr. Sandy Murray

Dr. Sandy Murray   Throughout his career as a family physician Dr. Murray has served the medical community at the local, provincial and national level.  Dr. Murray is a solo family physician with specific interests in Occupational Medicine as well as Dive Medicine.

A keen naturalist Dr. Murray has a long time association with the Red Deer River Naturalist Society and the Federation of Alberta Naturalists.

Mr. Trevor Doerksen

Graduated - 1987

Mr. Trevor Doerksen  for the past 20 years has worked to bring together media and technology. Through his education and his business experience Mr. Doerksen has investigated and developed large-scale implementations of streaming video and Internet TV for government and industry. Through his graduate research into flexible e-content and content repurposing Mr. Doerksen was responsible for a multi-million dollar research project, a chapter in the 2002 “Handbook on Information Technologies for Education and Training”, and the founder of MoboVivo.   Mr. Doerksen is recognized for having produced one of the first snowboarding films in 1989 and was the executive producer of the science television series, SciQ: Science Revealed. He received the Digital Alberta's Entrepreneur of the year award and Techvibes Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2010.
