  • Involved with Alberta Women’s Institute on local, provincial and national levels
  • Voting delegate for the World Wide Association of Country Women, in South Africa 1998 and Tasmania in 2004
  • a caring and involved community member, has contributed much to the fabric of the Red Deer Community
  • Worked as a teacher and was the first employee of the Red Deer and District Museum
