I am in my 14th year of teaching and love teaching English Language Arts! I've taught in northern Alberta, the last 8 years in Innisfail and now this is the start of my third year at HHHS. 

I grew up in Red Deer and returned to Red Deer after my first degree (Honours English degree from the University of Guelph), and then later after I finished my education degree from the University of Calgary. I love living in this community and am happy to be teaching here! I also worked for many years in publishing with Red Deer Press (formerly Red Deer College Press). 

In my spare time, I love reading, watching movies, walking my dog, playing the french horn and hanging out with my friends and family.
