Fee Structure
What does it cost to attend ASC?
Fees
Students are required to pay a fee based on their age and the course they are registering in.
Students 19 years of age or younger on September 1st of the current school year
- pay a fee of $100.00 for one 5 credit course
- pay a fee of $60.00 for one 3 credit course
Students 20 years of age or older on September 1st of the current year. Students will register with North Cottage High 403-342-2170.
- pay a fee of $900.00 for one 5 credit course includes $100 refundable textbook fee.
- Students withdrawing after 30 days after registration will not recieve course fee refund.
Refunds
5 Credit Courses - a refund of $75.00 will be issued upon the return of all course materials
3 Credit Course - a refund of $45.00 will be issued upon the return of all course materials
**Refunds are issued by cheque from Red Deer Public School District Central Office and will be mailed to you to the address on file
Diploma Exam Writing Fees
First time diploma exam writers pay no fee. Alberta Education Diploma Exam Fee $25.00 plus GST fee charged by Alberta Learning for students rewriting a diploma exam. This should be done online prior to rewriting the diploma exam with your myPass.alberta.ca account. Alberta Learning will release marks only when fees have been paid to them.
